En complément à son cours d’anglais destiné aux pilotes civils souhaitant obtenir un niveau OACI minimum de 4 pour pouvoir voler hors de France, Yves Rengade publie ce glossaire en deux parties. La première est présentée sous forme alphabétique, où chaque mot est suivi de sa définition en anglais, puis d’un exemple de dialogue pilote-contrôleur où le mot est utilisé. Les mêmes définitions et exemples sont repris dans la deuxième partie, classés cette fois par phase de vol. Utile pour la préparation du test OACI, cet ouvrage gardera au-delà de l’épreuve tout son intérêt pour parfaire son niveau, d’autant que si les termes aéronautiques sont bien sûr nombreux, l’anglais général constitue une bonne part de ce glossaire, bien entendu entièrement rédigé en anglais.
